Beauty Tips At Home with Michael Orcutt

Having quickly fled Chelsea, NY I have settled here in the forest of north Georgia and become a reluctant woodsman.  At a loss for how to fill my days I have rapidly gone through phases from crafting a boat for the dog to planting lettuces that I truly hope to not be here to harvest. After reaching the acceptance phase of the grief cycle I have replaced my social life with Peloton virtual spin classes infused with psilocybin micro doses and charged up house music.

My carefully curated list of restaurants were replaced with my own cooking 3 times a day.  Never in my life have I gone this long without dining out or ordering delivery from restaurants.  I averaged twice a day delivery of what I justified were healthy options though subconsciously I knew they were not. Though sourcing from a very rural grocery is challenging (and sometimes shocking), planning and preparing my own meals has not only given a purpose to my day but a measure of control right now. Physically I have never felt better.

With the extra time in my day I’ve been diving into some extra “why not” routines and trying out new products.  This is a daily 2 hour ritual but hey that’s suddenly a good thing.  Since being in isolation I have had so much time to analyze what is going into and onto my body.  With my routine facials and microneedling no longer available I have been especially conscious of the steps I am taking to make sure my pores aren’t clogged and my skin is not sagging.

Here are some of the natural products and steps I have added to my routine in the past month of isolation.

This cleanser leaves the skin with that refreshed feeling with out stirring it of its natural oils. This product is 100% organic.

The mask also comes in a formula for color treated hair.
